FORGE is live on Google Play. It is an AI-powered strength training app for people who take their lifting seriously and want more than a digital notebook.
We built FORGE because every gym app we tried did the same thing: let you record your sets and reps, show you a chart, and leave you to figure out the rest. That is fine if you know exactly what you are doing and why. For everyone else, it means months of training without knowing whether your programme is actually working, whether you are plateauing, or what to change when progress stalls.
FORGE closes that gap. It tracks your training like every other app. Then it reads the data, spots problems, and tells you what to do about them.
What FORGE Does
AI Coach
A conversational coach that knows your PRs, your programme, your training history, your injuries, and your goals. Not a generic chatbot. Ask it to swap an exercise, explain why your bench press is stalling, or build a deload plan, and it responds with specific advice based on your actual data. Tell it "drop deadlifts and add more arm work" and it rewrites your programme. One message, one tap, done.
Plateau Detection
FORGE scans your training log after every session and compares your estimated one-rep max trends across exercises. When it finds a stall, it tells you, with a specific fix. Deload at 85 percent for two sessions. Swap the exercise for a variation. Shift your rep range. Not a vague suggestion to change something. A specific, evidence-based action with an Apply button that rewrites your programme instantly.
90+ Programme Templates
Powerlifting. Hypertrophy. Athletic. Beginner to elite. Every programme comes with coaching notes explaining the programming decisions, the science behind the rep schemes, and who it is best suited for. Pick one, tap Start, and begin training in 30 seconds. Every programme template is free on every tier.
Forge Index
A morning readiness score from 0 to 100. Four inputs: sleep, energy, soreness, stress. One number that tells you whether to push hard or pull back today. The app suggests load adjustments based on your score. You decide whether to accept. Readiness adjustments are always advisory, never forced.
Programme Editor
An inline AI-powered editor for modifying your programme. Type "swap lat pulldown for barbell row" and it happens. Preview the change before applying. Undo if you change your mind. See the impact on your push/pull/legs volume balance. Create new sessions, remove exercises, adjust rep ranges, all in natural language.
Terminal-Grade Charts
Strength radar. Training load curves with acute-to-chronic ratios. Volume distribution heatmaps. Periodisation timelines. Data visualisation designed for lifters who want to see the full picture, not a simplified graph with three data points.

Why We Built It
Most gym apps are built by software companies that happen to be in fitness. FORGE is built by a lifter who happens to write software.
The features in FORGE exist because they solve problems I hit in my own training. Plateau detection exists because I spent three months doing the same weight on overhead press before I noticed. The programme editor exists because I got tired of rewriting my programme in a spreadsheet every time I wanted to swap an exercise. The readiness score exists because I kept trying to hit heavy singles on days I should have deloaded.
Every feature is tested in the gym, not in a design meeting. If it does not make you stronger, it does not ship.
What Is Next
FORGE is launching with a complete feature set but the roadmap is long. Working weight auto-calculation from your maxes. Backdated workouts. Strava integration. Health Connect. Wear OS. Social features. Progress photos. These are all coming, and the order is driven by what users ask for most.
If you train with barbells and dumbbells and you want an app that does more than count your reps, download FORGE and give it a week. The free tier is genuinely useful. The paid tiers are there when you want coaching intelligence on top.
