FORGE is a strength training application developed by Nexus Capital Group Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 15761870). In this document, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Nexus Capital Group Ltd. "The App" means the FORGE mobile application.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use FORGE.

- AI coaching interactions - messages you send to the AI coach and the responses generated.

We use your information to:
- Provide and improve the App's core functionality - workout logging, progress tracking, programme recommendations.
- Generate personalised AI coaching responses based on your training data.
- Calculate readiness scores, detect plateaus, and suggest programme modifications.
- Generate weekly recaps and training insights.
- Sync your data across devices when you are signed in.
- Send transactional emails - password resets, account verification.
- Improve the App through aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.
We do not use your personal information for advertising, marketing to third parties, profiling unrelated to your training, or sending marketing emails without your explicit consent. Ever.
FORGE uses AI models provided by Anthropic (Claude) to power the AI coach, programme modification, and plateau analysis features.
- Your workout data, readiness scores, nutrition data, body stats, and profile are sent to Anthropic's API to generate personalised coaching responses.
- Anthropic processes this data in line with their privacy policy and does not use your data to train their models.
- AI coaching context is stored per programme and includes a rolling summary of coaching interactions.
- Data is transferred to Anthropic's servers in the United States for processing. This transfer is necessary to provide AI coaching features and is performed in accordance with applicable data protection standards.
- You can delete your AI coaching history at any time from the App's settings.
- AI features are only available to Pro and Elite subscribers. Free users' data is not sent to any third-party AI provider.
- Your data is primarily stored locally on your device (localStorage and Capacitor Preferences).
- Cloud backups are stored in AWS infrastructure located in the EU (London, eu-west-2).
- Data is encrypted in transit (TLS / HTTPS) and at rest.
- Passwords are managed by AWS Cognito using industry-standard hashing - never stored in plain text.
- Access controls limit who can see your data inside our organisation.
- If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the processors strictly required to run the service:

To exercise any of your data rights, contact us at privacy@forgegymapp.com. We will respond within 30 days. You can also delete your account and all associated data directly from the App settings at any time.
FORGE is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16 in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, or under the age of 13 in the United States. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under the applicable age, we will delete it promptly.
The App does not use cookies or third-party tracking technologies. We do not serve advertisements. We do not use analytics SDKs that track individual user behaviour. The FORGE website (forgegymapp.com) may use essential cookies for basic functionality only.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the App or by email. The Last updated date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
